Convection Toaster Oven Buying Guide

Convection technology is adopted by many toaster ovens because it speeds up heating and makes baking even and thorough. It equips a fan into toaster oven to circulate air inside, thus making food to be fully and evenly heated. So a convection toaster oven needs lower temperature and sometimes less power than conventional ovens when baking and will save you time on daily heating. Most toaster ovens in the market have convection function, but not all of them truly offer this function. In my research, I found customers complaining about some convection models will burn your food and some heats up even more slowly.

The housing of most toaster ovens get hot when working, especially those convection models, because of convection fan. Many customers complain about this issue for getting burned. Fortunately, some manufacturers successfully solve this problem by providing safe door handle. You’d better place the oven at a safe position that is far away from children.
Like hot housing, fan of some convection toaster ovens is also a problem that annoys some customers. Firstly, they have reported that the convection fan of some models makes a loud noise when working. Secondly, the fan of some models blows the hot wind out of the oven, resulting in heating up the whole kitchen space. However most customers say they can live with this issue so it’s not a big problem.
